We hinted last week about our big photo contest theme for February…here’s the hint:

Sonya Thomas of Virginia ate a whopping 432 of these to set a world record. Did you guess what her object of mass consumption was…? Oysters!

It’s oyster season here in South Carolina, and we’re giving away the ULTIMATE oyster roast package to one lucky Palmetto Moon fan! Package includes:

  • One oyster gift package that includes 2 oyster knives, 2 pairs of gloves, a bottle of Charleston Cocktail Sauce and a reusable jute gift bag
  • A Southern Marsh oyster roast t-shirt:
  • A koozie of your choice

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Email contests@palmettomoononline.com one photo or your own original artwork that shows us why you are the ultimate oyster lover! Do you regularly host your own backyard oyster roast? Do you own your own custom oyster knife? Is your January planned around the biggest oyster roast in the world? However you can prove it, show us with a photo!
  2. All entries must be received by 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012. We’ll announce our winner shortly thereafter!
  3. By submitting your photo, you agree to let Palmetto Moon display the photo and use it at any time on any website.
  4. Your photo also must be your own original photo or artwork. Please, only one entry per person. If you submit more than one photo, Palmetto Moon will only accept the first entry as a contest submission.
