Looking for something to do in SC this weekend? Palmetto Moon fans always know the best events to check out in South Carolina, which is why we decided to put together a weekend roundup of our fans’ submissions! Here are a few choice events recommended to us on our Facebook page and emails from y’all:

Saturday Stingrays Game: Zach Szala, a child bitten by a rattle snake, is throwing out the first puck at the Saturday, Jan. 28 game. Donations will be accepted at the game to help his family cover his medical expenses. On Sunday, organizers are also hosting a Poker run to benefit Zach at the Low Country Harley Davidson on Dorchester Rd. in Charleston (motorcycles and cars welcome).  Registration begins at 11 a.m., with an after part at Moonshine Saloon in Goose Creek. First Annual Beaver Bar/CCA Oyster Roast: The Beaver Bar and Waccamaw Chapter CCA, along with Williams Knife Company cordially invite you to the first annual Lowcountry Oyster Roast and BBQ Dinner (Outside at the Beaver Bar Pavilion) on Saturday, Jan. 28 in Murrells Inlet, SC. Admission is $25 for adults and children under 12 get in free. All you can eat and drink, plus your ticket is good for an entry into our door prize raffle. All proceeds benefit CCA South Carolina. Visit the Facebook event page for more details.

Lowcountry Oyster Roast at Boone Hall: The “world’s largest oyster festival” is happening this Sunday at Boone Hall in Mt. Pleasant, SC! Tickets are $12.
