To try and accurately describe the challenge one faces during an early morning Spring turkey hunt is nearly impossible. The feeling of finally connecting all the dots and harvesting that much anticipated long beard can also seem just as indescribable. You can do everything humanly possible to prepare yet still fail from the slightest of mistakes. Although this may seem more like torture than sport, for most turkey hunters it is exactly why we do it. Having the ability to communicate with one of God's most mysterious creatures is a skill most do not adequately appreciate. Our hat's off to you Mr. Gobbler. May the best man win.
