    Sorghum cookies carry nostalgic association, conjuring memories of bygone days, and simpler times. Based on a nineteenth-century recipe. The pure ingredients and unique blend of spices and a pop of pepper to create a cookie you will want to make often – that’s why we call them “our favorite!”

    Bourbon Barrel Sorghum Cookie Mix Recipe:

    Combine Sorghum Cookie Mix, Bourbon Barrel Aged Sorghum, butter and beaten egg. Blend with a mixer to form the dough. Chill dough for 1 hour. Shape chilled dough into 1-inch balls. Roll the dough balls in sugar and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet about 2-inches apart. Bake at 350-degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly brown.

    Yield: 28-30 cookies.

    Ingredients: Unbleached wheat flour, evaporated cane sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, Bourbon Smoked Sea Salt and Bourbon Smoked Pepper.
